“Constantinople is one of the world's finer early music ensembles.” (The Weekend Planet)

A grand premiere at FASS for Constantinople, who invites us to a sumptuous evening of Persian music and song originating from the great musical tradition of the Isfahan school. In the company of the two founders of the Montreal ensemble, Kiya Tabassian on the setar and Ziya Tabassian on percussion, and their guest, the great ney flute master and singer, Hossein Omoumi, you'll pass through the doorways of the palaces of this thousand-year-old Eastern city to discover the splendour and refinement of Persian music.

“Artists to whom five stars can be attributed without any hesitation.” (La Presse)
